System Flushing & Chlorinated Solution Injection
For the chlorination of new water mains, pipework, tanks, showers, toilets, kitchens, canteens, and all other welfare facilities, our first step is a thorough system flush. We then inject a precise chlorinated solution into the system, ensuring it contacts all inner surfaces to perform a complete disinfection.
Safe Contact Time & Neutralisation
Once the required contact time has been achieved, the chlorinated water is drained from the system. It is then neutralised in line with all environmental requirements before being disposed of safely, protecting the external environment.
Final Flush & UKAS-Accredited Sampling
The system is thoroughly flushed again with fresh mains water. We then take microbiological samples to be analysed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory, providing you with legally-defensible results.
Certification & Quality Assurance
On receipt of the results from the UKAS-accredited laboratory, CEDEK provides the client with a detailed report and a Certificate of Analysis for each sample taken. This certifies the cleanliness of the pipework and tanks, providing you with essential Quality Assurance records for any Environmental Health Officer visit or inspection.
